Janae Xiao Lu Fuster

It's offical she is a member of the Fuster Family!! I don't think she really likes that idea but hopefully she will some day! I will post pictures as soon as Nick has time to down load them.
The past 24 hours have been not so great. She has started her grieving process. She now realizes we are not a babysitter and playmate and she doesn't like us very much right now. Lu Lu is very strong willed and thinks what ever she wants when she wants it is the way it should be. I sometimes feel like we should just let her have her way but know that will just make things even worse in the long run.......so lots of swinging and crying, screaming and grieving for her foster mom. She woke up this morning got dressed and started screaming out the window for her foster mom to come and get her.....this is just heart wrenching for us to watch. We knew that this adoption was going to be more difficult than Regina's but nothing prepares you to watch a small child so sad and nothing you do will calm her. I just hold on to her and repeat over and over that we love her (in Chinese).
On a lighter note she is very funny and very neat and she really does have her good moments. She finally today played with Nick and had a great time with him blowing bubbles in the park. So we will take one moment at a time and pray she comes to like us sooner than later!!
Thank you so much for your comments here and all the emails it means a lot to us!

I know how strong willed a 3-year-old can be! I'm sorry to hear that it's been so hard on you; it must be difficult to see her so sad. Your family is full of love, which is what every child needs. She will come around. Thanks for the posts and the wonderful photos! Donna

Oh I know how hard this must be for you all. Just keep in your hearts that she will someday soon turn around & find her forever family standing with open arms to love her . We are sending you lots of love & support . The pictures are great & it was wonderful to see LuLu smile.
Hang in there. It will get better

Thank you for all the pictures and what not. We all hope, and it will get easier. We also hope Lu Lu doesn't like fried grasshoppers, snake, etc. Other wise Fu is going to have to become a chineese chef! Keep up the great attitude and things will be great sooner than later. Rob, Kell and Med staff!
